1. Systems and software development – Chief Technical Officer
We are looking for an experienced, technically competent and well rounded systems person who is an innovator, and a leader and manager, to take responsibility for our systems development and to build a scalable production environment. If not already this person will become the CTO of an industry leader.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and with minimal supervision, the CTO is responsible for all facets of Oxford Risk’s technology operations, both internally and on external, client projects. The CTO will lead the Oxford Risk technical staff and ensure timely and on-budget completion of internal and client deliverables. The CTO will lead Oxford Risk and its client organisations on technology decisions, including: software platforms; third-party vendors; web-based technology and tools; and strategic direction.
Key responsibilities include:
• Systems development - The management and successful execution of the design, development and implementation of systems for the online delivery of personnel assessments, related accounting and transaction processing systems, and the management of associated data.
• Production systems - Build resources and structures to ensure production systems meet stringent availability criteria, and ensure that technical support, capacity planning, budgeting, and cost-management are in line with the company plan and strategic objectives.
• Client specific solutions - The management and successful execution of client specific technical projects based on generic deliverables and platforms.
• Business unit management Running the technology and systems business unit taking responsibility for its P&L within the business as a whole.
2. Expertise in judgement and decision-making - Risk Psychologist
Oxford Risk requires a psychologist with expertise and practical experience in Judgement & Decision-Making. Though initially ‘hands on’ the successful candidate is expected to develop the role into that of Chief Psychology Officer. Consequently we are looking for a technically competent and well rounded person who is an innovator, a leader and a manager, to take responsibility for our product and services development and delivery.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and with minimal supervision, the Risk Psychologist is responsible for all facets of Oxford Risk’s risk psychology products, and for their successful use by clients. The Risk Psychologist will liaise with the Oxford Risk academic team and will lead Oxford Risk on risk psychology decisions, including: assessments; partners; data analysis; and strategic direction.
Key responsibilities include:
• Instrument and assessment development - The design, development and content of instruments, assessments and data analysis to support the company’s strategy.
• Client specific solutions - The management and successful execution of the risk psychology content and consultancy for client specific projects.
• Business unit management - Run the risk psychology business unit taking responsibility for its P&L within the business as a whole.
3. Project and Account Manager
Oxford Risk delivers consultancy and content specific solutions to its clients. Our projects vary. Some are research based and require us to build a world class team of academics, consultants and researchers to deliver problem specific analysis and recommendations. Other projects require us to understand situation specific requirements and deliver unique implementations of the Oxford Risk Rating using a combination of risk psychology practitioners and systems developers. All client accounts require managing so that expectations are set and met successfully and that lifetime value is maximised.
Reporting initially to the CEO the project and account manager will, with minimal supervision, balance the demands of clients and Oxford Risk’s sales, technology and risk psychology functions to ensure satisfied customers and profitable projects.
Ideally we are looking for someone with experience delivering consultancy led projects in personnel testing and assessment to be responsible for:
• The delivery of client specific projects - embracing research and / or solutions implementation
• Managing across multiple projects - focussed on client satisfaction and profitability.
• Balancing the demands of stakeholders - through successful working across departments and disciplines.
