Terry Thomson - CEO
Terry Thomson is an entrepreneurial business developer and creative pioneer manager with a background in business leadership. He joined Oxford Risk in October 2003, and has been responsible for much of the development and direction of the company.
In his career Terry has created, managed and grown several software, consultancy and technology businesses. He was part of the management team that grew Ives & Company into a group of substantial enterprises including TeamStudio Inc – a successful US-based software product and services business with a global client base and a reputation for incubating innovative new products.
Europe’s leading services company for integrated front office and wireless applications – Aspective – was formed from the customer management division that Terry created and ran. Other interests include Barrowgate Associates, his personal investment and development company, which has worked with businesses as diverse as yacht importers and major financial services organisations.
Terry is a keen skier and runner, a jobbing drummer, with interests in the theatre and all forms of live music.
Tyler D. Nunnally - Sales & Marketing Director
Tyler D. Nunnally joined Oxford Risk in April 2006. He brings a wealth of entrepreneurial talent and hands-on business development experience to the company. Tyler founded NIT, Inc., at the age of 24, and directed the business for more than 12 years. He developed two diverse lines of business with operations in the USA and Europe. NIT, Inc. is the sole US importer and distributor of a major European luxury goods manufacturer and has provided international sales and consultancy services to a portfolio of leading security technology companies.
Tyler’s experience in early-stage business development brings many benefits to Oxford Risk. He is currently responsible for the commercialisation of the company’s intellectual property, and is planning and implementing the sales and marketing strategy. Tyler has a BA in Communications from the University of Georgia, USA, and earned a Master’s (with Distinction) in International Business from the University of St Andrews, Scotland.
Tyler enjoys golf, skiing, travelling and spending time with his wife and two young sons. He is keen on continual learning and makes the most of the opportunities in Oxford to do so.
