Senior PHP Developer

We are looking for a highly motivated senior PHP Developer to come join our fast-paced, fun team of professionals. If you are passionate about technology, constantly seeking to learn, improve and teach then you are the type of person we are looking for! You'll work collaboratively with other members of the digital team and the wider business to ensure that products and services meet client needs.

• Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms with TDD
• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilising standard development tools
• Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale
• Use test driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development

• Knowledge and application of test driven development
• Knowledge of Git
• Working knowledge on Linux
• Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, JQuery
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Zend, Symfony, Kohana, CodeIgniter, etc.)
• Excellent relational database skills using Doctrine
• Experience with building restful JSON web services
